George H. Lennon, a senior principal of Lennon, Miller, O'Connor, & Bartosiewicz, PLC, was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1935. He attended the University of Michigan, as a Regents Alumni Scholar, received a Bachelor and Masters of Business Administration (with Distinction), and a Juris Doctor degree. He was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, Business Honorary Society.
Upon graduation, he joined the predecessor of Price Waterhouse Coopers as a tax planner. On February 2, 1961 he began the practice of law with his present law firm's predecessor, Stratton, Wise, Huston, Early and Starbuck. He became a principal of the firm on January 1, 1964.
His law practice includes all areas of representation of businesses, their owners, executives and employees. His particular areas of interest have been taxation, general corporate law, real estate, business and real estate finance, estate planning and probate
He is an active member of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association (past President), State Bar of Michigan (former Member Representative Assembly, served a three-year term on the Statewide Attorney Discipline Board appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court and reappointed to serve an additional three-year term, for a total of a six-year appointment) and American Bar Association (taxation, probate and trust and real estate sections).
He is admitted to practice in all Michigan State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. |
